The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) is a prominent educational institution in Tanzania, recognized for its specialization in accountancy and related fields.
Established on July 1, 2002, under the Government Notice No. 489, TIA operates as a Government Executive Agency under the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
It officially commenced its operations on January 24, 2003, following the provisions of Act No. 30 of 1997.
