Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems for beverage production processes, including bottling, packaging, filling, and labeling.
- Create detailed engineering specifications and system layouts for new automation projects.
- Develop PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programs to control production equipment.
System Integration and Maintenance:
- Integrate automated systems with existing production lines and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- Update and maintain documentation for automation systems, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes through automation.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all automation systems comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Project Management:
- Manage automation projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and technical support to maintenance and production staff on the operation and troubleshooting of automated systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve automation solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in a beverage or food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial control systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, and process control.
- Experience with robotics, sensors, and vision systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
